We are always seeking faculty who are devoted followers of Jesus Christ and who love encouraging students to learn. Leadership and School Culture

  • Lead by example with a Christ-centered life impacting the school and community.

  • Collaborate with Headmaster, Academic Dean, and Admin Team to manage athletics and student conduct.

  • Develop and implement policies aligning with the school’s mission.

  • Oversee coordination between academic and athletic calendars for smooth operations.

Athletic Department Management

  • Lead OBA’s ten-sport athletic program with a biblically-grounded approach.

  • Recruit, train, and supervise coaches to ensure mission alignment.

  • Manage communication between administrators, coaches, parents, and students.

  • Oversee athletic facilities, budget, and event coordination.

  • Ensure compliance with OBA policies and OSSAA regulations.

  • Monitor student-athlete academic eligibility with the Academic Dean.

Student Learning and Discipline

  • Enforce student conduct and discipline policies per OBA expectations.

  • Supervise student activities in common areas (hallways, lunchrooms, gyms).

  • Assist teachers with classroom management to optimize learning.

  • Work closely with the Academic Dean on student behavior and academic performance.

Leadership Qualities and Skills

  • Strong communication, attention to detail, and growth mindset.

  • Leadership skills in strategic thinking, conflict resolution, and relational intelligence.

  • Preferred leadership style: authoritative servant leadership.

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s preferred.

  • Experience: Prior classroom and administrative experience preferred.

  • Personal Qualities: Strong support for OBA’s mission, values, and doctrinal statement.

  • Skills: Excellent communication, conflict resolution, decision-making, and leadership skills.
